The walk cycle is the #1 thing to get down in animation. If you can’t do this, everything else in animation will be extremely difficult. I’m thinking of doing a post on how to do a walk cycle, but it won’t be for a while.

Emotions Test


Notice this character is showing no facial expression. Don’t worry, it’s supposed to be like that. That’s when you come in. I want you to tell me what this guy is saying or feeling. What emotion is this guy conveying? Why is he conveying it? Tell me!

To show clear emotion without facial animation is key to animating characters. This is what I’m testing. So tell me exactly what you think and what I should improve! Thanks!
