Why I’m Never Going to See “The Nut Job”

Before it was just a regular hatred, but now it’s just…pure HATRED. Ever since I saw this trailer, I was filled with so much rage I started punching my computer…

…okay I never really did that, but it still serves my point!

In the first trailer there was an obscure Harlem Shake reference, but now it’s in your face POP CULTURE REFERENCE.

I hate pop culture references in animated films. They never came across as funny to me and make the film more dated. Just like that one scene from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride (if you don’t understand what I’m talking about, you’re probably to young to know).

I WILL NEVER SEE THIS FILM EVER…in theaters. I might see it once it comes out on DVD or on rental or something, but for now I WILL WATCH IT BURN IN THE FIERY PITS OF FIRE.

This film gives me more hatred than “Planes”. Yes, it is that terrible. Of course, I am not to judge a book by its cover, but how can I resist? It’s like judging a book with a cover that is covered with arsenic sauce, you certainly stay away from it.

What do you think about this film? Have you seen it yet? If so, what did you think? If not, will you ever see it? Tell me. I’d love to hear.

See you later, Animators!

Oswald Reviews: The Spongebob Squarepants Movie

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS!

Whether you like it or not, Spongebob Squarepants is one of the most iconic cartoon characters of the 2000’s. I love watching Spongebob, not the new episodes of course. I’ve talked about them before. But today, I’ll be talking about Spongebob’s first feature-length film, The Spongebob Squarepants Movie!

As a fan of the Spongebob TV show, of course I’d like this film. But does this film deserve to be wearing the pants, or does it just sink down to Rock Bottom? Let’s see.

My Top 18 Disney Canon Films! (part one)

I’m surprised I haven’t done this list before. It is one of the most essential lists to do on blogs like this. Lists like this aren’t easy. The decision-making process for this list was just me staring at a list of Disney films on my laptop screen. It wasn’t easy, but here you go!

I couldn’t stick with only 8 films so 18 it is! Might I remind you that this is only the films in the Disney Canon. No Live Action films. No DisneyToon Studios. Just films from Disney Animation Studios, all 53 of them.

So, no further stalling, Let’s get to My Top 18 Disney Canon Films!

Why is Disneyland “The Happiest Place on Earth”?

I’ve just come back from Disneyland and am currently suffering from PTDLD…Post Dramatic Disneyland Disorder…it’s a thing…

Hey guys! I’m back from the happiest place on earth and I have a lot planned for the New Year.

1. I will talk about my trip to Disneyland. I have a special editorial-type thing related to that. I do have pictures from the Disneyland New Year’s Eve party. If you watched it on television, some of the pictures you will see will be familiar.

2. I have been working on John. I will show you guys that.

3. A conclusion to Disney Spin-offs and Sequels Week is also underway. Sorry for the lack of those posts. I had a lot more planned but life got in the way.

4. It’s almost my one year anniversary of this blog. Yeah…it hasn’t even a whole year yet. Crazy, huh?

That’s all for now. I can’t wait to start of the New Year with you guys. Happy New Year, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and most of all…

…See you later, Animators!
