Oswald Reviews: Disney Spin-offs and Sequels Week (Mickey, Donald, and Goofy: The Three Musketeers)

So, the first film for the week. I watched this long ago, and I liked it. Heck, I put in Top 8 Films That I Like, But No One Else Does. But I decided to watch it again for the sake of this week. What did I think of it?

It was…okay….let’s get this over with.

Story: Mickey, Donald, and Goofy want to be Musketeers. They become musketeers. Movie over.

Fine, Fine, Fine. There’s more than that.

Princess Minnie is captured by Pete, so it’s up to the three of them to save her.

This film doesn’t have that much to offer. It’s a typical Mickey Mouse film. The jokes are sort of childish and corny, and it can be pretty boring at times. What else can I say?

Animation: The animation is decent, though a bit too squashy and stretchy for a Mickey Mouse film. There are some nice colors every once and a while. But other than that, it’s nothing special.

Characters: It’s Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pete, Minnie, Daisy, and Pluto. Nothing’s changed. Sure there’s that turtle-guy. He’s annoying as heck. He just can’t shut up with the songs.

In conclusion, this film wasn’t as great as I remembered it. It is pretty bland and forgettable. But, I still enjoyed it. It will still be in the Top 8 list, and I think it will stay there.

See you later, Animators!
