WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!! Okay, with that out of the way, let’s begin.
Story: Pixar knows how to pull at your heartstrings. Everyone knows how the first few minutes of the film goes. But if you don’t know, here’s a recap.
- Carl is married!
- They build a house!
- Carl’s wife is sick.
- She dies. 😦
You could just put a “The End” credit after all that and it would be fine. But other than the opening, the conflict is exciting, the character relationships are realistic, and each moment seems sincere.
Animation: Pixar animation…TIMES TEN!!!!
Characters: As said earlier, the characters seem so real. Their relationships seem so real. But the characters themselves aren’t the real strong point. It’s how the characters relate to one another, but the characters themselves do help it. But the characters are very lovable, but their relationships are better.
In conclusion, this film is one of Pixar’s best work. Pete Docter, i shall give you a round of applause. Who will be the next director in line? Lee Unkrich?… Who’s he?… An Editor?…What will he be directing?… Toy Story 3?!?!?!?!?!?!?
